30 Days of Thankfulness - Real life
Well...I attempted it. In past years it has happened successfully, other years I've lumped mutiple days together but ended up back on track by the end. This year...sleep took over. Having a two month old in the house will do that to you!
Still, I can't let this month end without again expressing my thankfulness. There have been some wild events and some hard days this month, but even in the most uncertain times God has shown me things every day to be thankful for. The biggest thing - His presence. Even in the unknown, He has been there to make Himself known and to let me know that I am not alone. I am thankful again that He is so big and so present and so involved and actually cares about the happenings of my life.
I will do this practice again next year...hopefully with better results. I do hope that I will make it more of a daily practice in the months to come.
"It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night," ~Psalms 92:1-2 ESV
