Thanksgiving Festivities
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with our families this week. We drove up to Everett on Wednesday night (endured the holiday traffic) and stayed through today with Nathan's parents. On Thursday my parents and brothers came over to the Johnson family house for a joint Thanksgiving feast. We went with Nathan's brother Clifford to see A Christmas Carol 3d that night and it was a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.
On Friday I met up with one of my cousins-in-law to go to downtown Seattle for the parade and then some window shopping (I was not motivated this year to actually have a shopping list on black friday with everyone else). We met up with some people later that night to see 2012. We've had quite the movie weekend.
Yesterday morning we went with Nathan's parents to hunt for their first "real" Christmas tree in years! They got a beautiful Noble for a great price and Nathan's mom's house is officially ready for the holidays.
Last night we went to see our friends' band Sight vs Sound in downtown Seattle - probably the last I will see them for a while with the baby coming.
After all the fun and busy times this weekend, I am beyond exhausted. I am ready to get back to my house and do my own holiday decorating, after I take a very long nap.
I will get some pictures posted soon, hopefully tonight, of the events and some baby updates as well.

Sounds like a busy holiday! I'm glad I wasn't the only one without a Black Friday list! We drove past the mall on Friday, and the parking lot was packed... no thank you!
ReplyDeleteBusy, busy, busy! Sounds like a lot of fun =)
