Counting down...
Here we go! Two weeks from tomorrow will be my last day of work before my maternity leave starts on the 28th (which is my due date). I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy has flown by. It feels like this little one will be here in no time - we can't wait!!
Nathan continues to change his mind daily about what our little Sweet Pea is - boy or girl. Not me. I am to the point now where all I can think about is "oh my word there will be a BABY here SO SOON!" - no more time to think about boy or girl...just...do I have everything I need??
The legislative session began on Monday and so far I think I'm handling it okay. Day 2 is done and I'm feeling pretty good. I have yet to leave the office on time in the last few work days so I will have to work on that. The ankles are puffy every night when I leave, but I get my feet up as soon as possible when I get home. If anything, I think the fact that work is 10 times busier than when we aren't in session it is making the time go by much faster for me.
Tonight I was at work till about 6:30, so we picked up burritos on the way home for dinner and now I think I'm going to have some hot cocoa and head to bed. It's been a busy day and another one comes tomorrow.
