30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 10 ~ Creator
I apologize for the large gap the last six days in my posting. I didn't realize that the emails of my posts were not making it through to my blog until now. So, I'll be reposing a few days at a time till I am caught up (I don't want to bombard inboxes). Without further ado...Day 10
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today I was overwhelmed by the beauty of The world around me. I awoke to the beautiful scenery of Semiahmoo Bay and Canada off in the distance across the water. The sun shone brightly this morning and there was hardly a cloud in the sky as Nathan and I combed the beach for shells to bring home to the boys. The crisp fall air smelled of damp leaves and saltwater. Snow peaked mountains glistened in the distance.
This afternoon we made our way into Canada where we explored Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. While the bridge is certainly a feature to behold, the beauty of the lush trees surrounding it and the quiet river running beneath it were breathtaking.
Towards the end of our exploring of the park we saw an eagle perched at the very top of the tree. What an incredible sight!
Our God, spoke each of those amazing things into existence. He said "let there be..." and there just ...was...and it was good! The creation of the natural world is beyond human comprehension. God did not stop His creating with the world we live in. Oh no. He is in the business of making new creations all day everyday - me and you. We are being fashioned into something new! I won't stay the same and He is not going to be done with recreating me until I am in His presence for eternity. Based on what I saw today from His hand, I'm gonna turn out pretty amazing when He is done with me!
