30 Days of Thankfulness ~ K is for Knitting, L is for Library, & M is for Music

I'm almost halfway through the month and keeping up okay! But as you can see we have 3 days joined together because although I have thought about each thing each day, getting it from my head to here has been nigh impossible during my awake hours. So here we have it.

Before Elizabeth's arrival I needed to continue the tradition of knitting the hat my babe comes home in. I already had the perfect bonnet picked out. The only problem was it was a pattern I'd never done before, with stitches that were brand new to me. I restarted that bonnet around 7 times. It is probably my favorite thing I have ever made and I was so motivated after completing it I also made her a little sweater. Knitting is such a relaxing hobby and so portable. I just wish I could do it more with a little one in my arms. I'm going to try and keep at it - she has almost grown out of the bonnet I made for her coming home and I want to make her one in a different color now. I may have to do the same thing with the sweater!
