Five Glorious Years!

I was 19 (almost 20), he was 21. It was a beautiful, perfect 75 degree, sun shiney day. Our family and friends gathered and before them and God we vowed to be eachother's one and only "from this day forward". I will never forget that day and will cherish the memory of it as long as I live.

A little sampling of pictures from that day:

Seeing me for the first time

I think he said "wow"
Whispering sweet nothings
on the boardwalk...

Love him

sweetness

So peaceful

The kiss!

And the words to the song he wrote, played and had recorded...for me!!

Singing his heart out for me

~~~~~~~~~~~~
It might have been the way she looked at him
The way her eyes captured him, held him in
It's hard to believe this day is happening
Where did the time go?
Time to soar like we never had wings before
Time to love like there's no tomorrow
Time to leave the old behind like it's yesterday
Finally you and I...
Now this time it's all I can do
To whisper these words of affection
To give you my word and my devotion
All this to say
I love you
It might have been the way you looked at me
The way your smile affected me, contagiously
Could it be this day is happening, it's happening
Where did time go?
Nothing could ever take away knowing that tomorrow I'll wake up besid the one I love
Beside the one I love
Nathan has been, is, such an amazing husband! I could not have known the day I married him what a blessing he would be to me upon waking up every morning. Whether we're getting up to face another routine filled day or we are enjoying lazy snoozes I'm glad my eyes open to see him. After a long routine filled day or a relaxing go with the flow kind of day I'm glad his arms are the ones I drift to sleep in.
He's doesn't romance me with speeches - but he is sincere with his sweet words and can still make my heart melt. I am honored by his devotion to me. He is a man of integrity, good character and strength. He knows how to make me laugh and he can charm me and [still] make me weak in the knees.
I admire his faith, his trust in the Lord and his submission to His direction for our lives. He is a gentle father, and an incredible hero for Steven to look up to in the future.
Nathan is my best friend, confidant, soul mate, lover and best of all...my husband. I love you, Nathan! Happy 5th wedding anniversary!
