30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 14

Our church has grown a ton over the last few months, so much so that the beginning of last month we switched to two Sunday morning services - a 9 o'clock and an 11 o'clock. Our goal is to someday make it to the 9 am service, but today, I was oh, so thankful we could go to the 11 am service. Steven woke up at 5:30, was awake for about 45 minutes, and then snuggled in bed with us and went back to sleep (and so did we!) until 9 am. Sweet sleep - how I've missed thee! So, we went to the 11 am service, I was in the nursery with the little ones and then after church we had a big spaghetti feed to benefit a missionary couple our church supports - thankful that I did not have to cook!!

I am thankful that God saw fit to make a 7 day week with the 7th day's purpose being a day of rest. I needed some rest. I've enjoyed this day of rest with my family and am feeling refreshed going into a new week.
