30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 15
Today I am thankful for words of encouragement.
They come in so many different forms, yet can make all the difference in the world to one's day; whether it is a compliment on your appearance, to letting you know you aren't alone in being slightly(?) crazy, to motivating you to do the right thing, to making the impossible seem possible.
I'm also thankful to be on the giving end of these words of encouragement every now and again. It can change your day entirely for the better to know that what you have said has lifted a weary heart, or brightened a day of gloom.
Thank you to the wonderful people who have been my encouragement today. It has done a world of good!
A couple other things I am full of thanks for today:
- mommy friends
- a baby boy with normally functioning "plumbing" again.
- candles, hot cocoa, and cuddling with the hubby while we listen to the storm that has knocked out the lights.
- a Savior who loves me in spite of my miserable failings in striving to reflect His character. His faithfulness is ever true and won't waiver even when mine does.
