30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 11

Today is Veteran's Day. It is a day to honor and thank all those who
have served and continue to serve faithfully in our country's armed
forces.

I am blessed to have so many strong men and women around me who have
chosen to make this their vocation and duty. It is a job requiring
great sacrifice & commitment, not only from those who vowed to defend,
but their families as well. The countless months away from those they
love, seasons of worry for their safety, multiple moves from many
communities, sometimes just when roots have started to get established
- this day honors them too.

Thank you to our veterans and their families. It is because of your
commitment and sacrifice that we continue to be a free nation.
