30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 13

A coat. With a hood. Waterproof. Not too "momish" but that meets all the practical points I want it to. If it comes in purple then that's a bonus. 

I've been around town all day doing my errands, sporting Nathan's ancient, too big, fleece coat. And you know what? It is cold! I searched 3 stores today for a new coat and came up empty. None had that perfect one on the racks.

Tonight I realized something. Here I am being all picky about what my coat should look like instead of being thankful for owning several. I am warm when I leave the house when so many are not. I am blessed.

So I will zip up that ugly coat tomorrow and be thankful for the blessing of having a coat.
