30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 3

We've spent the last two days in the house due to Steven having a nasty cold bug. The break in our busy schedule has been very welcome. I've spent the last two mornings being lazy with my boys and not getting much done around the house in any way...and I've loved it. This morning, for instance, we stayed in our pajamas until well after breakfast and watched some Winnie the Pooh and had lots of cuddle time or "uddles" as Steven calls it.

I'm thankful for my boys. I'm thankful that I get to spend this time of their lives with them, nurturing them at home and watching them grow and learn about the world they live in.

Steven especially has had light bulbs going off in his head lately about everything. He's repeating nearly everything we say to him. Yesterday he came to me and kept singing, "Up, Down, Touch Ground" and I didn't know what he was saying at first. Then I realized that he was singing the song Winnie the Pooh sings at the beginning of the movie - know idea he'd learned that. Steven is super sweet with his baby brother and thinks it is so much fun to help me with things for him. This morning he helped me give Bradley a bath - he insisted on helping wash his hair (probably because he hates that part of his own baths and wants to torture someone else) and then helped rub lotion on his toes. Steven has become a little climber and tries to get on top of all the furniture in the house now - nothing is safe anymore!

Bradley is growing and learning too. He has the sweetest smile and is extremely ticklish. He has the cutest little laugh. He loves Steven and thinks he is the funniest thing ever. He loves to kick, kick, kick and is starting to grasp onto toys now.

Yes, I am truly thankful for my little men.
