30 Days of Thanksgiving ~ Day 2

Music. I am thankful for music. We all have those songs that take us back to "that one time when...". Funny how music can create little snapshots of our life for us. The song I walked down the aisle to on my wedding day, the song I would always play in the car for Steven when he was a new baby and would start to cry, the songs from times with my family growing up...whenever I hear those songs I go back to those moments in time, be they happy or sad, and I see where I have come.

Tonight I happened to come across the iTunes gift card my mom gave me like 3 Christmases ago...why I didn't think to use it (or...ahem...open an iTunes account) until now is beyond me. I spent the better part of this evening listening to samples of songs both old and familiar and new and inspiring. I spent my gift card quickly.
