30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 16
This morning we were up bright and early, rushing to get out the door by 8:15 (turned out to be more like 8:30). Where did we have to be? Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). I just became aware of this amazing organization over the summer and decided to sign up and be part of it this fall. We go every Wednesday and are making our way, over the course of the year, through the book of Acts.
Earlier this year I was really struggling with finding time amidst the exhaustion that comes with parenting to spend time reading my Bible and praying. BSF has really helped to give me the motivation and the accountability to work towards that daily time of reading and prayer. They also have an amazing children's program and Steven is excited to go to his class every Wednesday. He is learning songs about Jesus and learning the same lesson (kid version) that I am every week. For me there is a time of discussion of the week's lesson with other ladies that I find so encouraging and uplifting.
So, today I am thankful for BSF and the fantastic impact it is already making on my life.
