30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 28

I have a lot of heavy on my heart today. This world is going crazy,
and I don't want to talk about the why's and how's cause my stomach
turns in knots and talking doesn't change anything. But I'm praying.
Praying for the King of peace to come reign and shine His light in the
darkness. I am so thankful that this world is not my home!

On a lighter note, I am thankful that my in-laws had the goodness of
heart even after the exhaustion of the last few days of family around
and hosting people for the holiday to let us throw our kids on them so
we could go on a spontaneous dinner out. The hubs and I needed that
alone time to relax and enjoy each other's company minus our little
crew. It was refreshing to talk and plan for the coming season together.
