30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 23
My monkey boy. Nathan's "mini-me". A bright ball of endless energy and
sunshine in our home - that's our Bradley Boy. Always game for a close
snuggle reading books or a tickle fight with his brothers - anything
that gets him close with those he loves most. I love the snuggles and
"I love you"'s the best!
I see this child with a smile on his face more often than not. The
child has endless energy, yet can go to sleep in a wink. He wears his
heart on his sleeve and feels all things deeply. He is quick to speak
his mind, quick to apologize and wants to be everybody's friend. He is
his big brother's shadow, wanting to do and be apart of everything
Steven is doing.
We are learning how to write letters and numbers at home right now,
and he is in the same class with Steven in our homeschool community. I
wonder sometimes if he will be the class clown on purpose, to make
people laugh, or if he doesn't realize that he brings so much laughter
wherever he goes.
He is devoted to his baby brother - probably more than William wants
him to be. Bradley loves finding ways to "help baby" even when it is
something William has already mastered. These two are either loving
each other or passionately arguing about something the other wronged
them in. I'm so eager to watch their relationship grow.
Bradley loves to sing and I am always finding him humming a tune or
singing something he heard at Bible Study or in church. Or a
combinations of things from everywhere. Recently he was confusing some
points when I heard him singing about "Messiah the Baptist!" at our
piano. Made me laugh, but I'll need to work on that one!
He loves to talk about Jesus. Meal times are Bradley's most talkative
time (might explain why he is such a string bean - too much talking
not enough eating). Often this is where we talk about the wonders o
God that are spinning around in his head. Those moments have been
beautiful and priceless. I am continually reminded through Bradley of
the deep love Jesus has for each of us and the incredible grace he has
given to us.
My sweet Bradley Boy. I am so thankful for you!
