30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 28
Today we dropped the kids off at Nathan's mom & dad's house and we
headed to downtown Seattle to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra with my
brother AJ and his girlfriend, Jessica. We walked around the Seattle
Center for a little while and grabbed a quick basket of fries from the
Center House before we headed to the show. It was the most elaborate
show I have ever been to. They know how to entertain! Such a fun and
memorable time.
We said goodbye to AJ and Jessica for the night and after that went to the downtown hotel room we booked for the night. On top of getting a great deal for the room, it is also really ritzy and nice and I feel utterly spoiled for what we paid for it.
I am thankful for time with my best friend away from the kids. I am also thankful for the very comfortable bed that I will be sleeping on tonight - much nicer than my tired mattress at home. And with that it is lights out and good night!

After the show we headed to Red Papaya Ales for dinner. The food was delicious! I had never had Pho before and now that I have, well, I'll be looking to get it again really soon!

Funny you should mention your Pho'st time, because my friend just guest blogged a Pho recipe over here: http://offthecuffcooking.blogspot.com
