30 Days of Thankfulness - Day 1

Has it really been since the end of last November that I last posted?
I guess burn-out and not knowing where to pick up really hit this last
year.

I could recap and do a whole summary of this last year, but it would
never honestly happen, so I'm not going to even attempt. Perhaps
you'll get little snippets of it here and there.

I love November. I love reflecting during this 30 Days of Thankfulness
challenge. And given how busy I've been this year that I haven't even
been blogging, I have a lot to be thankful for! Most of these posts
will be short and sweet, because that is what my life will allow right
now, but I hope to slowly delve back into the world of blogging my
thoughts and experiences more frequently than during the month of
November.

So, Day One. Here we are. A year behind and so much to be thankful
for. Life is incredible.

I am thankful for life, that I have reason to breathe, that I am
alive. Such a big thing and so often taken for granted. The fact that
there is breath in my lungs is something to be deeply thankful to God
for. His breath, full of life, in my lungs...how can I not praise?

And I am thankful for the little life growing inside of me. A child
hoped for and dreamed of and now joyously awaited...another sweet baby
boy. Another reason to celebrate and be thankful for this sweet,
blessed life.

Life isn't just beautiful, it is a gift and it is glorious.

Here is a happy little photo of me and our little one at 31 weeks!

And to round it off, my two sweet boys dressed as a firefighter and his faithful companion, "fire puppy!"
