30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 5
Second chances. That's what I'm thankful for today.
I had my midwife appointment this morning fully anticipating being
told I was going to need to transfer out of their care only to have it
discovered first thing that I have a horribly rotten glucometer! The
last 3 weeks of testing my glucose numbers are chucked and I'll start
from scratch. Talk about a nice second chance!
Another highlight of the appointment - I gained 2 lbs! After 3 weeks
of not gaining anything and having numerous parties worries about my
health I have never been so happy to see a bigger number on the scale.
Now, to the fresh start and remembering to give God control no matter
what happens...
